You will need the following to complete this tutorial

: HERE
Extract the TUBES to a folder on your computer
Extract the patterns to your PSP Patterns folder

SIMPLE FILTERS
DOWNLOAD
Extract to your Plugins folder

An image of your choice

On your MATERIALS PALETTE
Load the Gold pattern in your foreground
and
Pattern 802 in your background

...



Open a new image 400 x 400
Transparent background

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Flood fill with 'Pattern 802'

Click on your SELECTION TOOL


Place your cursor in the EXACT centre of your image (200 x 200)
and drag down until your settings on your task bar show
330, 365
Release your Mouse







EDIT >>> CLEAR

Hold down your CONTROL (CTRL) key
Place your cursor in the EXACT centre of your image (200 x 200)
and drag down until your settings on your task bar show
309, 341
Release your Mouse & Control key




LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Change the SCALE on your pattern to 50%



Flood fill the selected area with the pattern

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL



LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 3

Flood fill with gold pattern

SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 3
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT



Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Highlight Raster 3

With your MAGIC WAND
Mode = Replace
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNchecked
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
PSP9: Check CONTIGUOUS

Click in the centre of your image

SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 3
Go to LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
Flood fill the selection with the Gold pattern
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 5
EDIT >>> CLEAR


SELECTIONS >>> INVERT

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Highlight Raster 1

EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 6
Colour = Black
Opacity = 40
Blur = 12.0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 6
Click OK

DESELECT

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Close Raster 1 & 2
Highlight one of the remaining layers

LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Open Raster 1
Open and highlight Raster 2

With your MAGIC WAND
Click in the centre of your image

SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 25
EDIT >>> CLEAR
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Flood fill with Pattern 802




EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
same settings

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> CUTOUT



LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 3
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT

Flood fill with gold pattern

SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 3
EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT

With your MAGIC WAND and holding down your SHIFT key..
Select the areas shown below



Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Highlight the MERGED layer

Select your MAGIC WAND
Tolerance 125

Depress your SHIFT key and select the oval as shown below



SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> CUTOUT
same settings
DESELECT

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Highlight Raster 2

With your MAGIC WAND
Click in the transparent centre of your image
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT

ADJUST >>> BLUR >>> GAUSSIAN BLUR
Radius = 6.93

LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
Flood fill with WHITE
LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> SEND TO BOTTOM
DESELECT



LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> BRING TO TOP

Open the "cmv2201bcorner.psp" tube
Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Go to your frame image
Right click on the Title Bar
and select PASTE AS NEW SELECTION from the options.



EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 2
Colour = Black
Opacity = 40
Blur = 6.93

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 2
Click OK

DESELECT

ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN

EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> SIMPLE >>> TOP LEFT MIRROR
Click OK



LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE

Save as a '.psp' image

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~**~

The next section is OPTIONAL

Open the 'ovalpearlsJF' tube

Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options

Go to your frame image
Right click on the Title Bar
and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.

Select your DEFORMATION TOOL and adjust to fit moving the nodes
up, down, to the side... and with the bottom left one..hold down your SHIFT key
drag down and to the left at the same time



Click one of the other tools to deselect

ADJUST >>> Hue & Saturation >>> Colorize
HUE = 8
SATURATION = 15

EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 2
Colour = Black
Opacity = 40
Blur 6.93


ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN



LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE

IMAGE >>> CANVAS SIZE



With your MAGIC WAND
Select the outer transparent section ... Flood fill with the Gold pattern

SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 3
Go to SELECTIONS >>> INVERT

EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0

Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1
Click OK

SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 5
SELECTIONS >>> INVERT

Repeat Drop Shadows

DESELECT

OPEN Raster 1
Save as a '.psp' image


Your frame is now ready for the image of your choice
