Materials needed
download
Download and extract
the "jd-mask112.msk" to your PSP
Masks folder.
extract the
".bmp" files (lace4.bmp & jb-s063_gold.bmp)
to your PSP Patterns
folder
extract the
"Tubes" ( ivy_diamondaccents.psp & Image59.psp)
to a folder on your
computer

Simple Filters
Download and extract to your PSP Plugins
Folder

Go to your COLOUR PALETTE
Load RED ( #AF0603 ) in your lower,
background box.
Load GOLD ( jb-s063_gold ) PATTERN in
your upper, foreground box.
Scale = 100
Angle = 0
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Open up a new image 400 x 450
Transparent background
Flood fill with RED ( #AF0603 )
Go to LAYERS >>> NEW
RASTER LAYER
Go to MASKS >>> LOAD FROM DISK
Locate the jd-mask112.msk
Click OPEN
Go to MASKS >>> VIEW MASK
Go to your COLOUR PALETTE
Right Click on your RED and select BLACK
Flood fill the mask with BLACK

Go to MASKS >>> DELETE

Click YES
With your MAGIC WAND
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
Select the 4th black border from the
centre

Flood fill with the GOLD pattern
Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects
>>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop
Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - (
minus ) 1
Click OK
DESELECT
With your MAGIC WAND
Select the next black border as indicated
below


Flood fill with the GOLD pattern
Go to SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
Go to SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY
>>> EXPAND = 2
Go to SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
Go to EDIT CLEAR
Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects
>>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop
Shadow effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - (
minus ) 1
Click OK
Go to EFFECTS >>> SHARPEN
>>> SHARPEN
DESELECT

Using your SELECTION TOOL
Selection Type = Rectangle
Feather - 0
Antialias = UNchecked
Select the area just inside the centre
gold border

Go to EDIT CLEAR
DESELECT
With your MAGIC WAND
Click on the outer RED area as shown
below

Flood fill with BLACK
DESELECT
