You will need
Filter Factory Gallery C
which can be downloaded HERE
Download and extract to your
PSP Plugins Folder.
gabriel-zilver pattern: HERE
Download and extract to your
PSP Patterns Folder.
You will also need an image of your
choosing to insert in your finished
frame.
********************************
Open a new image 400 x 400
Transparent background
Go to LAYERS >>> NEW
RASTER LAYER
Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on
the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol

Then enter these co-ordinates

Flood fill with 'gabriel-silver' pattern
ANGLE = 45
SCALE = 100
Go to EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS
>>> FILTER FACTORY GALLERY C
>>>
DIFFERENCE SPIRALS

Go to EFFECTS >>> EDGE EFFECTS
>>> ENHANCE MORE
Go to SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY
>>> CONTRACT = 12
Go to EDIT CLEAR
DESELECT
Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS
>>> INNER BEVEL

With your MAGIC WAND
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
PSP9 USERS: CHECK CONTIGUOUS
Select the transparent centre of your
image
Go to LAYERS >>> NEW
RASTER LAYER
Flood fill with silver pattern
Go to EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS
>>> FILTER FACTORY GALLERY C
>>>
EMMISSION MIRROR
ZOOM = 165
Go to SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY
>>> CONTRACT = 12
Go to EDIT CLEAR
DESELECT
Go to EFFECTS >>> EDGE EFFECTS
>>> ENHANCE
With your MAGIC WAND
Select the transparent centre of your
image
Go to SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects
>>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop Shadow

Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - (
minus ) 1
Click OK
DESELECT

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Click on Raster 2 to activate
With your MAGIC WAND
Select the OUTER transparent area of your
image
Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Click on Raster 3 to activate
Go to LAYERS >>> NEW
RASTER LAYER
Flood fill with silver pattern
Go to EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS
>>> FILTER FACTORY GALLERY C
>>>
CYBER MOSH

Go to EFFECTS >>> EDGE EFFECTS
>>> ENHANCE
Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects
>>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop Shadow

Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - (
minus ) 1
Click OK
DESELECT
Go to SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL
Go to SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY
>>> CONTRACT = 35
Go to SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
Go to EDIT CLEAR
DESELECT
Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS
>>> INNER BEVEL

With your MAGIC WAND
Select the OUTER transparent area of your
image
Go to EFFECTS
>>> 3D Effects >>> Drop
Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop Shadow

Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - (
minus ) 1
Click OK
DESELECT
Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Close Raster 1
Go to LAYERS >>> MERGE
>>> MERGE VISIBLE
Go to LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
Go to IMAGE >>> ROTATE
>>>FREE ROTATE = RIGHT 45
Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Click on the MERGED layer
With your MAGIC WAND
Select the transparent centre of your
image
Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Click on the COPY OF MERGED layer
Go to EDIT >>> CLEAR
DESELECT
Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Drag the COPY OF MERGED layer UNDER the
MERGED layer
OR
LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN

Go to LAYERS >>> MERGE
>>> MERGE VISIBLE
With your MAGIC WAND
and holding down your SHIFT key
Select the transparent corners of your
image
Flood fill with silver pattern
Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS
>>> INNER BEVEL

Go to EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS
>>> FILTER FACTORY GALLERY C
>>>
TILE MIX

DESELECT

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Click on Raster 1 to open and activate
Go to LAYERS >>> MERGE
>>> MERGE VISIBLE
Go to IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 98%
Ensure "Resize all layers" is
UNCHECKED
With your MAGIC WAND
Select the OUTER transparent area of your
image
Flood fill with silver pattern
Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects
>>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0
Repeat Drop Shadow

Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - (
minus ) 1
Click OK
Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS
>>> INNER BEVEL

DESELECT
With your MAGIC WAND
Select the transparent centre of your
image
Go to SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects
>>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 6
Colour = Black
Opacity = 60
Blur = 16
Repeat Drop Shadow
effect changing
Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - (
minus ) 6
Click OK
DESELECT
Go to LAYERS >>> NEW
RASTER LAYER
Go to LAYERS >>> ARRANGE
>>> SEND TO BOTTOM
Save as a .psp image
Your frame is now ready for you to insert
your "painting"
on the bottom layer
