You will need the following to complete
this tutorial
The 'jb-s063_gold'
Pattern
Download and extract
to your PSP Patterns folder.
The "13_Brush" and
"15_Brush" brushes
Extract to your PSP8
Brushes folder.
and the larger version of the DREAM
image below
all of which you can download HERE
Extract the tubes
and DREAM image to a folder on your
computer
(If you use your own image... resize it
to 450 wide x 325 high)

Don't forget
to save on a regular basis.
Open up your DREAM image in PSP
Go to WINDOW >>> DUPLICATE
Close original image
With your duplicated image active
Go to IMAGE >>> RESIZE

Go to LAYERS >>> Promote
Background Layer
Go to ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS
>>> UNSHARP MASK

Go to your COLOUR PALETTE
Load BLACK
In your Foreground box
and
the 'jb-s063_gold' Pattern in your
Background box.
ANGLE = 0
SCALE = 100
OR
You can change the SCALE to = 50% if you
wish

Go to LAYERS >>> NEW
RASTER LAYER
Select your BRUSH TOOL
Choose the "13_Brush" preset
and the following settings

Left click in the centre of your DREAM
image.
Select your DEFORM TOOL
and drag the centre nodes towards the
edges of your image


With your MAGIC WAND
Mode = Replace
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 0
Antialias = UNchecked
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED
Holding down your SHIFT key select the
black areas
Flood fill with the GOLD pattern
DESELECT
Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Close RASTER 1

Go to LAYERS >>> NEW
RASTER LAYER
Select your BRUSH TOOL
Choose the "15_Brush" preset
and the same settings as before
Left click in the centre of your DREAM
image.
Select your DEFORM TOOL
and drag the centre nodes towards the
edges of your image


With your MAGIC WAND
Same settings as before
Holding down your SHIFT key select the
black areas
Flood fill with the GOLD pattern
DESELECT
Go to LAYERS >>> MERGE
>>> MERGE VISIBLE
