GRADIENTS download
Download and extract to your PSP Gradients folder.

TUBE download
Download and extract to your a folder on your computer.

Open up the 'Jamie22Mask' in your PSP workspace
and minimise.

Open up the tube and minimise

Go to your MATERIALS PALETTE
Load the 'mah_chrome' gradient in your background box



Load the 'md_red2' gradient in your foreground box




Create a new image 400 x 400
Transparent background


Flood fill with the foreground gradient

Go to EFFECTS >>> GEOMETRIC EFFECTS >>> CIRCLE
Check "TRANSPARENT"

Go to IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 75%
Make sure "Resize All Layers: is UNCHEKED

Go to ADJUST >>> BRIGHTNESS & CONTRAST >>> BRIGHTNESS / CONTRAST
Brightness = 8
Contrast = 27




With your MAGIC WAND
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 1
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED

Select the transparent area surrounding the circle
Go to SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
Go to SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT 2
Go to SELECTIONS >>> INVERT


Flood fill the selected areas with the foreground gradient


Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
Use these settings



Click OK

Go to LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE
Go to SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
Go to SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND 2
Go to EDIT >>> CLEAR

DESELECT



Looks a bit messy... huh???
We'll fix that *S*
Mine looked like the image above when I first created the tut
BUT the second time around (testing my instructions)
it didn't happen. I still think it advisable to do the
following instructions anyway, just to make sure.

Go to your LAYER PALETTE and
Click on Raster 1 to activate

Go to IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 105
Make sure "Resize All Layers" is UNCHECKED

Voila!!! Mess gone! *S*

DESELECT

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Go to your LAYER PALETTE and
Click on 'Copy of Raster 1' to activate

Select your FREEHAND (Lasso) TOOL
Settings
POINT TO POINT
Feather = 0
Antialias = CHECKED

(1) Starting at (top) position 0, 300 click once
(2) Go down and left to position 300, 0 click once
(3) Go to the bottom left hand corner. position 400,0 click once
(4) Go right to position 400, 100 click once
(5) Go up and right to position 100, 400 click once
(6) Go to the top righthand corner. position 0, 400 click once
(7) right click.

You should now have the shape below selected
(This image looks fuzzy because it has been reduced)




Go to LAYERS >>>> DUPLICATE
Go to SELECTIONS >>>> INVERT
Go to EDIT >>> CLEAR

DESELECT


Go to LAYERS >>>> DUPLICATE
Go to IMAGE >>> MIRROR

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Click on 'Copy (2) of Raster 1' to activate



Go to IMAGE >>> MIRROR
Go to IMAGE >>> FLIP





Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Click on 'Copy (3) of Raster 1' to activate




Go to IMAGE >>> RESIZE 85%
Make sure "Resize All Layers" is UNCHECKED


Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Click on 'Copy (2) of Raster 1' to activate



Go to IMAGE >>> RESIZE 85%
Make sure "Resize All Layers" is UNCHECKED
