You will need the following to complete this tutorial


Gradients
Mah_Mocha Satin
md_multi8
GRADIENTS download
Download and extract to your PSP Gradients folder.

Mask
lacyframe mask
MASK download
Download and extract to your PSP Masks folder.

Download and extract to your PSP Plugins Folder


Left click and save the large image to a folder on your computer.

Open up the 'Concubine' (Large) image in your PSP workspace
Go to WINDOW >>> DUPLICATE

Close the original image

Go to IMAGE >>> RESIZE
Use these settings




Go to your COLOUR PALETTE
Load the 'md_multi8' gradient in your foreground box




Load the 'Mah_Mocha Satin' gradient in your background box




Load BLACK & WHITE in the boxes shown below

Click on the 'Concubine' image to activate
Go to LAYERS >>> PROMOTE TO LAYER
Go to LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Go to MASK >>> LOAD FROM DISK
Locate the 'kwc_lacyframe.msk'

Go to MASKS >>> VIEW MASK

Flood fill the mask with the foreground gradient

Go to MASKS >>> DELETE
Click YES




Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 100
Blur = 0

Go to EFFECTS >>> EDGE >>> ENHANCE




With your MAGIC WAND
Match Mode = RGB Value
Tolerance = 0
Feather = 1
Sample Merged = UNCHECKED

While depressing your SHIFT KEY >>> Select the areas shown below
all the way around the image



Go to LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Select the AIRBRUSH TOOL
Use these settings




Fill in the selected areas with the background gradient
DO NOT DESELECT

If after filling in the areas with the airbrush..
you see sections you may have missed




Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Click on Layer 2 to activate

With your SHIFT KEY depressed and with
your MAGIC WAND
select the missed areas.

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Click on Layer 3 to activate


Again... with your AIRBRUSH ... Fill with the background gradient

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL




Click OK

DESELECT
