With your MAGIC WAND
select the transparent area in the centre of the image
Go to SELECTIONS >>> INVERT

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> CHISEL



Go to LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE

Go to EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> SIMPLE >>> LEFT RIGHT WRAP

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Click on the MERGED layer to activate

Go to EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> SIMPLE >>> TOP BOTTOM WRAP



Go to SELECTIONS >>> SELECT NONE

With your MAGIC WAND
and holding down your SHIFT KEY
select the transparent areas as shown below.




Go to LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Go to SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 5

On your MATERIALS PALETTE
Click on the 'pattern' icon option in your BACKGROUND
LEFT Click inside the box
locate the BBpattern and select
ANGLE = 0
SCALE = 100






Flood fill each section with the pattern


Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
Same settings

Go to SELECTIONS >>> SELECT NONE




Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Click on "Copy of Merged" to activate



Go to your MATERIALS PALETTE
Change the setting to SOLID COLOUR (PURPLE)

Go to LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER
Flood fill with PURPLE

Go to LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> SEND TO BOTTOM


Go to IMAGE >>> RESIZE
Make sure "Resize all layers" is CHECKED



Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Click on Raster 4 to activate

With your MAGIC WAND
Click in the centre of the image

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Close the MERGED & COPY OF MERGED layers
Click on Raster 5 to activate



Go to EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> BLINDS
COLOUR = PALE LILAC



REPEAT BLINDS EFFECT
This time check HORIZONTAL

Go to ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN

Go to SELECTIONS >>> SELECT NONE



Go to your LAYER PALETTE
Close all layers EXCEPT Raster 1
Click on Raster 1 to activate

With your MAGIC WAND
Tolerance = 0
Click on the pale lilac area surrounding the image
Go to EDIT >>> CLEAR
Go to SELECTIONS >>> SELECT NONE


Go to your LAYER PALETTE
OPEN ALL LAYERS

Go to LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE ALL (Flatten)
