You will need the following to complete this tutorial

EYE CANDY3

Download and extract to your PSP Plugins Folder

Plus these materials
jb-s063_gold.bmp
lace4.bmp
Seperate.ttf
the large "Alex" image below



All of the above including the large image can be downloaded
HERE
Extract jb-s063_gold.bmp and lace4.bmp
to your PSP Patterns folder.

Extract Seperate.ttf to
C:\Windows\Fonts.

Extract the large "Alex" image to
a folder on your computer.

Go to your COLOUR PALETTE
Load GREEN ( #C1CCC4 ) into your (lower) background box
as in the Left Hand image below.

Load the 'lace4.bmp' PATTERN into your (upper) foreground box
as in the Left Hand image below.
SETTINGS
Scale = 100
Angle = 0

THEN

Load the 'jb-s063_gold.bmp' PATTERN into your (lower) background box
as in the Right Hand image below.
SETTINGS
Scale = 100
Angle = 0

Create a new image 400 x 450
Transparent background

Go to LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Select your TEXT tool
Use these settings
Highlight the SIZE and type in 150
Select the SEPERATES font
enter lower case "t"



Click OK

Go to IMAGE >>> ROTATE >>> RIGHT 90
Select your MOVER tool
Position it over the centre of the image (#1 in the LH example)
and line it up to the '225' pixel mark.
At the same time drag it to the '30' pixel mark in from the left.

Select your DEFORMATION TOOL
and drag the centre upper and lower nodes as indicated
until the just disappear from the image (middle example below)

Select your AIRBRUSH TOOL
Your image should now look like the RH example below

Use these settings on your AIRBRUSH TOOL



With your LEFT mouse button depressed
Drag your AIRBRUSH over the selected image
until the entire image is filled in

Go to EFFECTS >>> EDGE >>> ENHANCE



Go to your COLOUR PALETTE
Select the GOLD pattern in your (lower) background box

Go to SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
Go to LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER

Flood fill with the GOLD pattern

Go to SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
Go to SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND 1
Go to SELECTIONS >>> INVERT
Go to EDIT >>> CLEAR

Go to EFFECTS >>> SHARPEN >>> SHARPEN

Go to EFFECTS >>> 3D Effects >>> Drop Shadow
Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1
Colour = Black
Opacity = 50
Blur = 0



DESELECT

OK... that's the worst over....

Go to your LAYER PALETTE
CLOSE Layer 1
Go to LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE
