Eliminate dark lines around animations
Submitted by Kathy B
Hi:
Not sure if this will help you or not.
Most animators vary their #'S etc depending on the image
It is mostly a matter of trying and undoing until you are happy.
Here are the settings I usually use to optimize partial transparency
(keep scrolling for several steps).
I also use the same settings for non transparent images as well.
(minus the "partial Transparencies" section.
The last step is very important for animating partial transparencies.
I very often optimize>undo & optimize again with different settings until I am happy.
Here is a sample using white as the color in the Partial transparencies area.
Hugs
Kathy B.
The quality (# of colors) slide can usually be adjusted down without affecting the result too much, but will reduce the size substantially.
Switching between Optimized Octree & Median Cut may be necessary to give a better result and/or smaller file.
The very top one can be checked too without affecting the result.
I usually use #'S between 40 - 50.
