Multiple Tag Makng Script

I belong to Julies tag group. She makes hundreds of tags that are just lovely. She got a lot of requests asking how she made so many tags so quickly and her response was to say she used a script and that she would write a tut explaining how she does it. Her reply is below with a link to the script she uses. Thought it might prove beneficial to any tagmaker. I am going to try it, although I have no experience with scripts whatsoever. If it makes it more efficient and easier to make tags for more people it will certainly be worth it. Hugz, Jocelyn

This is the reason for my having been less active in some of my groups and normal (and more active in my tag groups than normal). Most of you know and have been patiently waiting for the script I have written which can be used in Paint Shop Pro 8 version 8.10 to make multiple tags. Somebody even went and bought PSP 8 during their lunch time a couple of weeks ago in anticipation.

Essentially you create a text file with a list of names. You record a script to add text to your tag and then edit it slightly. You record another script to format the text (e.g. adding bevels and drop shadows). You also edit the make tags script to give it some information about which scripts to run etc. Comprehensive instructions are included. If you have not done scripting before then there is a link in the help file to a tutorial by Suz Shook about basic scripting. I have been using various versions of this script for a few weeks now and I have over 1,000 names on my always list. The only way I can manage a list of this size is to use the tag making script. Also, I feel a bit of a cheat, people keep on writing to me saying thank you for all the tags I make and it is a bit of a wheez really. Managing the e-mails and uploading them to my web site takes longer than making the tags! So, now you know my secret
