Deleting Attachments in Incredimail

When you delete an email with an attachment in Incredimail a copy of that attachment is kept in an IM folder. I could not believe that I had over 50 thousand saved attachments in my IM attachment folder. That takes a lot of hard drive and slows down your computer. I am so careful to clean my computer and did not know this folder existed. Below are the instructions to clean out that folder.

Right click on start
Left click on explore
Left click on documents and settings
Left click on owner
Left click on local settings
Left click on application data
Left click on IM
Left click on identities
Left click on the long number
Left click on the message store
You will see the attachment folder....you need to delete all of these attachments...make sure you have checked all of you email first as it will also delete the attachments in the email you have not opened.

If you do not see any of the above folders they may be hidden...To find them

Click on tools in your explorer window
Click on folder options
Click on view
Make sure show all hidden folders is checked
Click apply
Click ok
You should now be able to see your folders
